Flagler
(and all other greyhound tracks) hosts the Adopt-A-Greyhound
Program whereby fans can adopt one (or more) dogs right
at the race track.
FLAGLER'S
"ADOPT A GREYHOUND" office
is on the main floor of the Grandstand, and there's a FRIENDS
OF GREYHOUNDS booth every weekend in the Sports Bar.
In the fall, Coca Cola and Flagler present GREYHOUND ADOPTION
DAY where you can meet the retired greyhound racers and
their adopted families and learn more about the dogs and how to
choose the best one for your family. Though the dogs are trained
athletes, once they retire they are considered among the most
affectionate, well behaved and intelligent pets. |
